Exclusive interview Of NFLANE (@nflane) He talks About His Musical life and the Journey so Far
My Names are Chuckwuyem Eric Azzun popularly known as NFLANE, acronym for ''Nothing For Love And Nothing Ever'', that inspired and grew in me from much feelings about love, how life can be up and down ,how people can be in one unity and when one has no love for anything in life ,love will persist from them . This triggered my love for music and helped me to realise my talent in not only singing, but playing drums, engaging in pianos and having the zeal to learn more and share love.
2) Who are your inspirations? (as other artists)
In the past I have always looked up to the likes of King Sunny Ade, Sunny Neji, 2Face, M.I, D'Banj and more. Great lyrics, rhythms and melody have recently inspired me with their rhythms and melody in music.
3)Where would you like to perform most?
I have always wished and dream to see myself performing Afro hip hop music with good rhythms for so many /millions of people, my music is for everyone both young, old, male, female, rich and poor, I want to be able to share my songs to all my fans in the World, most especially trying to learn from them and what best they think or suggest me ''Nflane'' to do in music.
4)If you had to describe your music in three words, what would you call it?
My kind of music, which I believe its flexible, but most especially I believe Afro Hip Hop music, RnB ,Gospel music and Reggae, but I will always stick to my Afro hip-hop Genres of good music's .
5)Thinking back to early childhood, what was your first experience with music time like? What song do you remember as a child?
while I was growing ,I always see myself singing all alone but I noticed people around me are laughing and watching while I sang and I can still remember one of my song title that was ( Everybody Calling me Nflane)
6)What can people expect to see at your live performance?
when it comes to music am always crazy, the enthusiasm and energy vibes in me comes out, the love for music while I dance and sing becomes high tensioned, don't be surprise when you see me free styling with what I see around me at that time, with a different melody on top my music just to put a smile on everyone faces and get them up dancing.
7)What are your songs about?
For now I will say most of my songs are usually on Yoruba concepts because, I have always liked Yoruba culture and would always be about testimony and getting bigger to my least expectation in life, in as much I am not from Yoruba land. I am originally from Igbaken Village, born in Benin City Edo state.
8) Tell us more about your new single
My new single which was officially released on the 8th May 2014 is titled ''BOLOJO'', it's in a Yoruba concept and specifically about the Yoruba ladies exercising cultural dancing step, which was the old version, now we have the makosa/twerk version for the Afro hip-hop. Bolojo is dance and make it sweat but bolo it with nice twerking and letting the Ankara ladies showcase too.
9)What are your immediate career goals?
My immediate career goals, it's to see myself ahead in anything I do/ step ahead my games and also as a philanthropist , putting smiles on the sadist faces, less privileged and orphans at any opportune and given time.
10)As an artist is there anything special you hope to be able to achieve?
As an artist, I would want to achieve success in every ratification in my career, being able to face the challenges I will come across , and being at my best at all cost and any given time will be my most pleasure ,so as to attain my goal/success.
11)As an artist how would you define success?
Success simply means the accomplishment of an aim or purpose one indulges in. They say ''necessity is the mother of invention'' so I believe success is my aim /targets.
12) Do you currently have an agent, endorsement, record label, sponsor, etc..?
Yes I am signed, being sponsored by and under K-Live Entertainment/ H.I.T Promo.
13)Is there anyone you would like to thank for making your dream come true as an artist?
I would love to appreciate God Almighty for giving me this unique talent as a song writer, singer, drummer/beats and entertainer , also huge thanks and more Blessings & respect to my entertainment board of directors K-Live Entertainment/ H.I.T Promo for pushing me ahead and making it a success in my dream as a musician.
