Incredible! Doctors find TEETH inside 4-month-old baby’s brain (See Photos)

A baby in the United States was found to have teeth growing in his brain due to a rare kind of brain tumour.
The four-month-old baby boy in the state of Maryland was discovered to have the fully formed teeth in his brain after doctors noticed his head was growing faster than normal.
The baby is believed to be the first person worldwide to suffer from the condition.
Daily Mail reports:
The baby required surgery to remove the tumour, but, a year on, he is now making a good recovery. The child first came to the attention of doctors after a routine health check revealed his head was growing faster than expected.
According to a report in the New England Journal of Medicine, he had an MRI scan which revealed a tumour near his pituitary gland which measured 4.1cm by 4cm by 3.5cm.
The scan revealed that the tumour also contained teeth very similar to those found in the lower jaw.
The baby underwent surgery to remove the tumour and further tests revealed it was a slow-growing mass called adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma.
The tumour is thought to have arisen from Rathke's pouch, an embryonic precursor to part of the pituitary gland.
The boy underwent surgery to remove the tumour and the surgeons were able to see the teeth inside his brain (pictured). He is now developing well but requires regular check ups to ensure the tumour has not returned
These tumours are sometimes filled with viscous, yellow fluid containing cholesterol crystals. They usually start in the area around the pituitary gland but spread into surrounding areas and they often recur after they have, seemingly, been completely removed.
It is very rare for them to spread outside the brain. It is now a year since the body underwent surgery and he is making good progress. However, he has had to have a shunt fitted to drain brain and spinal fluid from his head.He also has to take thyroid and adrenal hormone-replacement drugs.
The boy's tumour was a adamantinomatous craniopharyngioma and he is thought to be the first person to have one of these tumours containing teeth. Image shows the characteristic features of this type of tumour
He still undergoes regular MRI scans to ensure the tumour has not returned.
The doctors who treat the boy say it has long been suspected that the type of tumour he suffered from form from the same cells as those involved in the creation of teeth.
